Arnside is a village in Cumbria, England. It faces the estuary of the River Kent on the north eastern corner of Morecambe Bay. It is within the Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It lies within the borders of the historic county boundaries of Westmorland, near the border with Lancashire.

 

Central for Kendal, Lancaster, Carnforth, Morecambe etc. Good walking and cycling, beautiful scenery. Fairy steps approx. 1m

From Milnthorpe, take B5282 through Sandside; continue over bridge, after 400yds turn left at the Garden Centre.    

Follow road around right hand bend, continue for 1/3m. At T-junction (post box) turn left, pass through woods, site on right when road levels.
